We are committed to protecting our properties which is why we've partnered with Know Your Guest, the leading vacation rental guest-screening provider.

Please note that within three days of your booking, you will need to verify your details and ID through Know Your Guest.

You will also be given the choice between paying a refundable deposit or buying a non-refundable damage waiver. We suggest you buy the damage waiver as this protects you in case you cause accidental damage during a booking.

Due to poor proper use from previous guests, the wood burning fireplace will not allowed for guest use. It is simply there are the rustic, cabin aesthetic. All wood stove use in the fireplace is suspended.

No smoking inside the house. Smoking is only allowed OUTSIDE where the ashtrays are provided.

This home is located in the country and it is part of the experience if the electricity goes out. We are in a location that PG&E supplies our electricity, so PSPSs (public safety power shut offs) are known to happen. It is completely out of our control since it happens because of weather conditions. If a PSPS occurs while you are staying at the home, we will NOT refund you your rental fees. During the snow seasons power line poles are known to fall as well, which would also create an outage. There is a propane wall heater for heating, flashlights for light.

Snow removal is the GUEST'S responsibility. You will be responsible to remove snow upon arrival and departures. You will need a 4-wheel drive or a vehicle with chains/cables to get to the house. Snow removal services available for hire.

If there is any bio and hazmat cleaning that needs to be done after your departure, you will be charge $125/hour. Hazardous substances include: ANY KIND OF BODILY SUBSTANCE AND FLUID.
